I bought these for Christmas gifts and kept a few for myself. They look great hanging on barren winter tree branches! Nice decoration while waiting for spring. Haven't seen any birds yet though.

Since none of our visiting birds have shown any interest, I tried to "scrape" off some of the seed with my fingernail and they don't budge. Even if a bird noticed and tried, I don't see how they could get any seeds.

I purchased the pear songbird treats as a gift for my dad for Christmas. I was delighted with the packaging and my dad loved them. He hung them in a tree outside his window and was thrilled to see all the birds that came to visit! I have since ordered two more boxes of them.

The packaging is lovely and the "fruit" looks very tasty for the birds. It makes a terrific gift.

We put one of these out in one of our bird feeders, and the wild birs (all sorts) won't touch it. The pears look nice, but if the birds find them unedible, they don't really have any purpose! Disappointing.

These were a gift for Christmas. I hung one up next to the feeder, but the birds did not come even to try, so I took a hammer this morning and smashed the pear, thinking that the birds and squirrels would be able to eat the seeds if they were separated. Nope! I wonder if the "glue" has obliterated the smell, or has made the seeds too hard to extract. A cute idea, but not for feeding the birdies!
