Sweet treat!

Comments about : Songbird Tweets® Pears, Set of 6:

Received as Christmas gift. Hung one out on a clothesline and waited. The first few days it went untouched but today I observed a family of bluebird, some chickadees and several tufted titmouse having a go at the pear. I'm thinking the remaining pears will go fast. I'm sold. Will purchase additional pears.

The little wrens gathered daily under and on the feeders. These were very popular. I love seeing the little Wrens and Cardinals feeding together. And With them getting food in the winter, my trees should be full this spring and summer.

Takes patience but birds love it

I received these pears as a Christmas gift. I hung them & watched eagerly for the birds to appear. They were untouched for a whole year. Just when I was ready to take them down the birds went crazy for them. Within 2 months they were completely devoured. I would buy these as a gift. But I would include a note explaining that "eventually" the pears will be a bird magnet!!!!!

Birds not interested

These pears were a Christmas gift from a friend. After having them outside for over a month, the birds have not touched them. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Comments about : Songbird Tweets® Pears, Set of 6:

We received a box of these as a gift. We put them out among our other bird feeders. We have lots of birds visiting...woodpeckers, nuthatches, jays, chickadees, goldfinches, sparrows, and house finches. Even when we hang one of these on another feeder, the only time a bird will land on it, is to wait a turn to get seed from another feeder or suet cake. They just don't see these things as food. I've seen birds peck at them once or twice, decide they're not interested, and fly away. I can only conclude they were designed as attractive gifts, but never actually tried on birds. Or the formula was changed.

Cute but birds not loving them

Cute to look at would be better if the birds really went for them. They kind of get eaten..think it might be by mice.

I have bird food from Wild Birds Unlimited...suggest their products as the birds really eat them.
