Comments about : Bird Netting, 14' x 14':

We have been using this for years on the blueberries and it is a pain to remove after the season. It also is easily caught in the lawnmower. I intend to build a frame of plastic pipe this year that will allow me to move it on and off the blueberries - we'll see how that works.

I grow figs in Washington, DC and have a lot of friends that love to eat them. Using Bird Block, I can safely prevent birds from attacking the fruit without harm to them. Using Bird Block, I can provide figs for my friends, and even have enough to make Fig & Lemon Preserves!

The birds were having a hay day until I bought this netting. Now I can enjoy the fruit of my new blueberry bushes.

                Comments about : Bird Netting, 14' x 14':

I bought this for my grapes, blackberries and blueberries and liked that netting size was big enough for bees and other bugs to escape, but that also meant that the fruit could stick out of the net. The birds still feasted on more fruit than I did. There may have been a way to avoid this if I chose to spend a lot of time arranging and rearranging, but ultimately it wasn't as effective as using tulle from the fabric store. Since I still have a bunch I will figure out a wire support system so it does not directly touch the plant in most places.
