    Comments about BioBags™:

I like to use these bags as it is much easier to dump the material. I probably don't empty the pail as often as the manufacturer intended because there is leakage into the can but the seal on the can with the compost bag in it is quite tight so no smell ever escapes. I throw bag and all into the composter but the bags do not compost as they advertise. Possibly I am not doing my composting correctly. I continue to use them because they are handy and useful.

Had a free tree giveaway and a bunch of trees with no pots. These bags worked great and were compostable themselves!

I love these bags. They do a great job of keeping all compostable waste neatly together. They do leak through on the bottom but they hold together until they get in the composter.

this is the answer, pitch the entire bucket contents in the composter. What used to be a smelly job, just got fun. Bag and all go, and I walk away.

              Comments about BioBags™:

Perfect size for my 1 gallon kitchen counter top compost pail. The longest kitchen scraps have been contained was 5 days - no leak or major tearing of the full bag. Must use care in handling full bag since bag does tear easily with rough handling. Probably best to put thorny vine cuttings on the compost pile by hand rather than in the bio-bag.

Bio-bags are breaking down on the compost pile, after a month none have completely disappeared, but we did have a significant cold snap this past month. Clearly these starch based bags do exactly as designed.

Use with my metal compost bin in my ketchen. Last liners I tried from anther company barely big nough. They were thin, flimsy. They split just trying to get them open to insert in bin. These are thicker & strong enough to insert with no probblem. A great easy way to take kitchen compost to outside bin.
