Exclusive | Harvest up to 2,400 Beans in Just 1-1/2 Square Feet

  • Extra-sturdy cage supports vines for a bigger, better harvest
  • Installed height is over 5 feet to hold tall pole beans
  • Folds flat for storage at the end of the season
  • Choice of Red, Green or Steel Gray

Grow bushels of beans with our tallest, strongest and sturdiest bean tower yet. The secret is thicker supports coupled with 10" legs that hold the structure securely in the ground. The Bean Tower in our test garden yielded 2,400 beans between mid-July and late September — in just 1-1/2 square feet! Supports are 5 mm thick with 3.5 mm crosspieces. Openings are 7-1/2" square to allow easy harvesting. In windy locations, we recommend anchoring with our Extra-Tall Earth Staples, sold separately.

  • Steel Gray is galvanized steel; Red and Green are powder-coated steel
  • 14-1/4" square x 75" H overall, including 10" legs
  • 65" H installed
  • Vertical wires are 5mm; horizontal wires are 3.5mm
  • 7-1/2" square openings
  • Easy, no-tools assembly
  • Folds for off-season storage
  • Gardener's Supply Exclusive

Pros

  • Easy To Harvest
  • Easy to set up

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Cucumbers
    • Green beans

It is very easy to harvest through the ample grid spaces. I was able to have 2 bean plants on one support and 1 cucumber plant per support. The supports are still like new & I plan to get many years of use out of them. They may last longer than me :)

    Best Uses

    • Pole beans

I am using them, as intended, for pole beans but I can see where they would be useful for other types of plants as well, especially those that tend to be very vine-like. I would prefer, however, that they would be a bit taller, to allow for even more growth.

This is advertised as a bean trellis, but it is sturdy enough for any climbing vine. We're using ours for a pair of climbing jasmine vines and it works great. We got the green powder coat so it would blend into the background of the garden.

I bought both the red and green tower. Both of the green tower lower half came undone. One of them on one side only so I was able to fix it, but the other green one fell apart on all four sides. I also bought two red ones and did not have any problems.

                    Falls apart

This bean tower worked well for the first year, but then it fell completely apart when I attempted to store it last fall. It costs too much to only last for one growing season. It is poorly made.
