Exclusive | Water at the Roots to Keep Plants Healthier

  • Waters the root zone, not the weeds!
  • Leaves stay dry, reducing blight
  • Works in any soil type, releasing water over 1-1/2 to 4 hours
  • Two colors to choose from: green blends into your garden; red are more easily found
  • Each spike holds a standard 1- or 2-liter plastic soda bottle, not included

Turn your empty soda bottles into a super-easy, inexpensive irrigation system. Our patented AquaCone® watering devices fit 1-liter bottles for light watering or 2-liter bottles to deeply water thirsty plants. AquaCone devices save time over conventional watering, and because they target each plant's root zone, you won't waste water on neighboring weeds. Leaves stay dry, which helps reduce blight and other diseases.

  • Fits standard 1- and 2-liter bottles
  • Note: AquaCone devices are not intended for "vacation watering"

    Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:

AquaCone makes watering easy, especially for plants that don't like to get wet. Sometimes the Cone will clog, but it's just a matter of pulling it out of the ground and letting the water clear out the holes. Great idea!

      Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:

The cones make watering my tomatoes so easy. I can fill the bottles and forget it as they allow for a generous amount of water. My garden is on a slight slope, so with the cones, I can be sure the water is not travelling downhill away from the plant. I purchased some last year and liked them so much that I bought some more this spring.

No advantage vs. a Watering Can

                Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:

Do not plan on using this for when you are away from the house as it empties in a very short period of time (as in 10 minutes). No advantage versus a watering can. Waste of money.

These work great for growing your running plants like squash in a hay bale. They also work great in large pots on deck.

                      Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:

I purchased the cones to use in my patio plants that I moved to the garage because of cold weather. We went out of town for a couple weeks so ordered the cones to help keep them moist. However, no matter how small the hole we put in the cones, the water still leaked out too fast. The bottle was empty within a couple of hours. I wanted them to last at least a week or two. So didn't use them.

                      Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:

I bought some of these before (they were yellow then) and use them every year. This year I decided to use them in my sunroom plants. They work great and the only problem I have with them is that they are hard to get pushed down into the bottle neck resulting in water leaking out from around the neck.
