Exclusive | Decorative Apple Fruit Fly Trap Catches Pesky Pests

  • Sparkling crackle glass trap controls pesky fruit flies
  • Effective and easy to use
  • Eco-friendly: no plastic traps to throw away
  • Includes three packets of non-toxic lure

Get rid of those pesky little fruit flies that flit around fruit bowls and compost pails. No one will ever know that this pretty glass apple is also a fruit fly trap. Just mix a packet of lure with water, remove the top from the apple and pour in the lure. Attracted by the lure, fruit flies enter through the opening in the bottom and can't find their way back out. Every two weeks or so, simply rinse out the apple and add a fresh batch of lure — no plastic traps to throw away. Includes three packets of non-toxic lure; additional lures sold separately. Bracket sold separately.

The construction of this product and is poor and makes completely useless. The bait fluid will not stay inside the product so it can't attract and trap gnats. Complete waste of money.

Comments about : Apple Fruit Fly Trap:

This item looks nice, but otherwise is useless. The apple is not structured properly to hold the lure liquid so there is nothing for the flies to be attracted to. It simply leaks all over the counter and flies just swarm around it but don't go inside and therefore don't get trapped.

Comments about : Apple Fruit Fly Trap:

The instructions tell you to mix up the syrup and pour it down the side to be caught on the bottom of the apple which is open at the bottom! Not easy! The opening in the bottom has raised sides but the little sides are not very high so I lost about half of my mixture. I hope the rest attracted the fruit flies. Utility aside --- this is a great looking apple!

I love this trap mounted on the wall. I have one right inside my back door where the dogs run in and out. Seems like every time the dogs come in a gnat or fruit fly follow. This helps eliminate them as they enter. Every time I have emptied the trap it has been full.

            Apple Fruit Fly Trap

Comments about : Apple Fruit Fly Trap:

I was disappointed in the color. I was expecting a bright red apple as shown in the catalogue but instead I received a dark red, almost brown one. As It is to be displayed on the shelf above the sink its decorative properties are not as I would have liked I haven't had any fruit fly invasions yet so I don't know about its effectiveness..
