Systemic Repellent Deters Deer and Other Pest Animals

  • A new way to deter animal pests in your flower garden and landscape
  • Plants take up the fiery substance into their leaves, making plants unpalatable
  • One application lasts all season; no need to reapply after rain

Place these tablets at the base of landscape plants and the roots take up the active ingredient, capsaicin, and distribute the fiery flavor to stems and foliage. Deer and other animals take one bite and run! One application lasts all season. Doesn't wash off like spray repellents, so there's no need to reapply after a rainstorm. 50 tablets. Apply 1 tablet per every foot of plant height and width (height + width). Do not include the trunk of a tree. Do not use on fruit or vegetable plants. No shipments to CA.

I was skeptical at first

Comments about : Systemic Animal Repellent:

I was very skeptical but willing to try anything. The rabbits were eating all my Hosta, then the squirrels would dig up the roots. I applied one tablet each side of the plant and the chewing and digging stopped. It seemed to work about 3 months in a wet season. I would apply as soon as growth appears and reapply mid summer for best results. It was surprisingly easy and effective. I'm reordering.

Comments about : Systemic Animal Repellent:

When I opened the bottle, about half of the little "pills" had disintegrated into powder at the bottom of the bottle. Because the remaining pills were so soft, they broke apart easily when I tried to plant them around my lilies. I will not order this product again.

I plant lots of pots each year and as the pots were planted I added the 'pill'. That's it, so easy. As the 'pill' dissolves the roots take up the nutrients and the the squirrels stop digging in my pots. Works great for me.

Comments about : Systemic Animal Repellent:

I had a problem with deer, rabbits & chipmunks eating my perennials. Last year, I improvised covers out of netting to protect them. It was really unattractive. So, I was thrilled to see these tablets. I followed the instructions on the label and THEY WORK! My gardens are growing beautifully and are not bothered by the above animals!

          • Ornamental Plants Needing

Comments about : Systemic Animal Repellent:

Like many gardeners I have battled with pests in my garden. By far the most destructive have been the deer. We only had occasional visits from them but then our neighbors put in a fountain right across the street. Now the deer get a drink and then stroll across to the salad bar: my lovely bed of hostas! They started again this year eating the newly emerging leaves down to the ground. I ordered and applied this product as directed using 2 or 3 of the tablets around each plant then watering in well. So far there is no more deer damage to the plants!!! They have regrown to normal size. I think the key to a good result is getting the tablets into the ground early in the season. The deer have now switched to nibbling my roses so I'm going to try using some on them.

Comments about : Systemic Animal Repellent:

We have a major vole problem with them eating the roots of plants including Knock Out Roses and Shrubs. Place these pellets in the ground around the plants and for the remainder of the season my plants are vole free, blooming and above, not below, ground. However, it needs to be done in March whenever a good day occurs. Our voles are around in January regardless of weather. I am never without this product.

You have to use them early in the season for them to be a really good deer deterrent. When I ran out, the roses I used them on early were deer-proof, but the ones I used when the new bottle came, the deer still got.
