These Self-Watering Pot Reservoirs convert your favorite pots into self-watering planters, keeping your plants from drying out and reducing the time you spend watering. Just place this self-contained adjustable reservoir in the bottom of your pot, insert the refill tube and cover with soil. The One-Gallon Conversion Kit holds four quarts and fits pots between 16" and 20" in diameter at the rim. The smaller One-Quart Conversion Kit holds one quart and fits pots up to 10-14" top diameter. Simply fill the reservoir with water through the convenient Fill Tube. The soil will be moistened through evaporative action from the reservoir below. Comments about Self-Watering Conversion Kits:

    Concept and design is reasonable.
Quality of the dip stick with cork floater needs more consideration.
I had two, planted same day, they broke within a week of each other. Now there is no way to know if the reservoir has water. I have three others I have not planted and will be sending them back.

    Comments about Self-Watering Conversion Kits:

These were bought for growing tree roses. I'll be able to keep them watered more easily and can move them into the greenhouse during extreme weather. I took these to the Huntsville (AL) Botanical Gardens spring sale to show customers a great way to care for their plants.

        Comments about Self-Watering Conversion Kits:

I am excited to convert some pots to self-watering ones. Keeping the right amount of water in big pots has always been a concern in the Kansas heat and wind. These should help keep an eye on how things are going "down deep"

This is for a fairly small pot, of which I don't have very many. I do a lot of gardening in pots outdoors and the bigger version are much more useful to me. If you have really small pots, this would indeed be helpful.

The gallon reservoir is great! Sturdy and a great help with hot Florida days. Takes the guess work out of too little or too much water. Will always have it in my pots a great help!

I have used these for years and love them. My outdoor plants require much less attention now. Only problem, the squirrels like to eat the top cover on the fill tube. :(

I refuse to use anything that isn't self-watering and I was so happy that I could keep my favorite pots and simply insert these kits. Really pay attention to sizing before you order.

When snapping together a few pieces broke off as did the piece on top of the tube. I took a chance and ordered the gallon size and they were excellent. So pleased I ordered two more.
