    Comments about Self-Watering Conversion Kits:

I have antique sap buckets I use for plants and hang on my trees. Watering them has always been difficult and I have to reach up above my head with the hose and the water always trickles down my arm. Also they tend to dry out fairly quickly, so I have to be on top of the watering. I am very anxious to use these self watering conversion kits in my buckets

          Comments about Self-Watering Conversion Kits:

I have used the Gardener's Supply self watering inserts (as well as the pots they used to have years ago) for 5+ years. The inserts are so easy to make any pot into a self watering one, and on really hot days, I went from having to water outdoor plants daily, to only watering every 3 days. The water is stored in the bottom of the pot and the plants roots use the water when it needs it. I love these!!!

Item holds water easily to help keep hanging basket watered. Especially helpful in warmer weather and when baskets are hanging in the sun. Keeps watering flowers all day/night. Completely covered with soil, not noticeable. Can be use again and again in different hanging baskets throughout the year. Stores during winter easily for use the following year.

                Comments about Self-Watering Conversion Kits:

                Concept and design is reasonable.
Quality of the dip stick with cork floater needs more consideration.
I had two, planted same day, they broke within a week of each other. Now there is no way to know if the reservoir has water. I have three others I have not planted and will be sending them back.

These were bought for growing tree roses. I'll be able to keep them watered more easily and can move them into the greenhouse during extreme weather. I took these to the Huntsville (AL) Botanical Gardens spring sale to show customers a great way to care for their plants.
