          Comments about A-Frame Support:

the A-frames are not very sturdy and the netting comes on a roll and is very difficult to stretch and secure over the A-frame poles. As the cucumbers are growing over the netting the netting is not strong enough to hold them up and the netting is stretching allowing the cucumbers to drop near/on the ground.

            Comments about A-Frame Support:

I ordered this A-frame to support my pea vines. It assembled easily with another person helping, but I think one person could assemble it with patience. It comes with 3 hinged pieces and a straight piece that snaps into the top. You drape your netting over and tie it in place. At the end of the season, the netting can be removed with the vines attached, and the frame taken down to store until next season. I ordered the biodegradable netting to make it easier to dispose of in the compost pile.

Used this to shade some new starts during hot spell and draped garden cloth over the tee pee. Great idea but the clamps to the top pole kept coming undone. Eventually got it in place.

              Comments about A-Frame Support:

...I found out that it was the upright/cross pieces only without any kind of foundation for my vines; that I would have to purchase netting separately. Seems like it should be offered with a "standard" netting (as shown in illustration; if offered with that, I would have bought) and the option to purchase/make a different netting of your own to "personalize/customize" it to your specific needs.

                  Comments about A-Frame Support:

I'm sad to see all the bad reviews, because this is my favorite trellis. I use it with the hemp netting and it is my cucumber trellis. I think it's easy to store and easy to put up. Just keep the 6 supports in "triangle" connectors and put them in the ground first. Clamp on the cross support and you're good to go. I put it in a raised bed and have never had a problem with it blowing over. And my garden is on the prairie where I've had bamboo trellises ripped out of the ground and broken off. The cucumbers are easy to see and harvest and large yields because they grow vertically. I'm back to buy a second one!

this is very hard to set up unless you have a partner ! I set up one end and the other end falls down. There are no instructions on how to attach it to the ground..ie. should it be tied down some how or just pushed into the ground ?

Its a great idea but I am very frustrated with the set up/

                        Comments about A-Frame Support:

This support is convenient for locating my annual pea plantings around the garden without having to be on a fence or create a temporary fence. It is stable so far, with bluntly pointed ends on the uprights to sink it just far enough into the soil. I covered it with deer netting to support the pea plants and have peas starting on each side, planted about two weeks apart.
