Exclusive | Our Heavy-Duty Tomato Ladders Hold Over 100 Pounds!

  • Ladders hold a huge harvest — over 100 pounds
  • Ladders cradle fruit-laden vines more effectively than stakes
  • V-shaped design protects each plant's main stem
  • Ladders nest for compact off-season storage

If you have a really big tomato crop this year, will your plant supports be able to handle the load? Our exclusive Tomato Ladders are the sturdiest you can buy, because they’re made with 7mm steel uprights — 20% thicker than others on the market! They’ll last season after season too, thanks to a weatherproof powder coating. Best of all, our Tomato Ladders are better for your plants. The rounded-V shape protects plants from wind and accidental breakage. The seven cradle-shaped cross-members give multiple places for vines to rest, and make it easy to set the ladders into the ground. Tomato Ladders will make the most of your garden space, reduce pests and disease, and give you a bigger harvest of juicy, unblemished fruit — guaranteed!

  • Powder-coated steel
  • Sturdy 7mm diameter upright supports
  • 6" W x 6" D x 57" H overall including 13" legs

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

I've used these for many years as tomato supports but last year used them after gardening season was over to support burlap around an evergreen for winter wind protection. They were strong enough to hold up to some of the worst winds we have had in the Midwest and worked better than anything I had previously tried. When these need to go back in the garden for tomatoes next year again, I plan to use the new ones to go around a heavy post/bird feeder as a trellis to augment the post where I have a clematis growing.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

I have bought several of these over the years. I love the durability. I use this size for Poblano and other tall peppers. I wish they were wider, because the taller plants branch out and the weight of the fruit will break off the entire branch. Ideally, they would be 8 inches wide minimum.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

I have always done a little bit of gardening, but this year, I really went wild with vegetable gardening and adding native plants to my flower gardens. I bought these originally for tomato plants, but I am using them for tomatoes and for holding up my native plants that got huge (milkweed, etc.) they are perfect for both! Very sturdy, great for multi-stemmed plants and for single stemmed! In very windy areas, I just tie a little garden tape across the opening and it works wonders! Great, versitle product!

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

Simple to use and install around tomato plants. Very sturdy and looks good in garden. Waiting to see how it will hold tomatoes as the plants get bigger. Also wondering if the unit should be a little wider. I'll wait till the end of season to pass judgement. So far I really like them!

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

I haven't exactly figured out how to use these for tomatoes -- maybe I need to be more ruthless in my pruning. But I love them for melons and cukes. They are super strong, and very attractive. A bit challenging to store, as they don't collapse, but worth the space as they last many years.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

First of all, these are the best tomato plant stakes/ladders that I have ever used. They are strong - one piece and very sturdy. They offer strong support in the wind and something to tie the plant to. This year, I only planted cherry tomato plants, but my plants are already two feet taller than the support ladders, and the plants are easily four feet in diameter. If these ladders were three feet taller and the two sides were at least 10 inches longer and the angle of the two sides was at least 90 degrees, then they would support my cherry tomato plants much, much better. Still, the best I have found on the internet.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

As long as you are willing to prune your tomatoes, these plant supports work well. Install at time of transplanting. It's a pain to weave taller tomato plants into the support structure at a later date! We are having a slow summer with our tomatoes here in NH so I cannot comment on how this support has (or hasn't) affected overall production.
