Comments about : 30" 2 x 4 Railing Planter:

I like this planter, but I also bought the bigger self-watering planter. It is worth the extra few dollars to get the sturdier, heavier self-watering planter. This one is not bad at all, just not as fabulous as the self-watering one.

I originally bought two and filled with dirt and seeds. Well, it looked so beautiful on the porch rails, I ordered another one to make the porch complete. My husband came in the driveway after installing and said from the road they really made a difference on how the house looks.

These look great on my deck and they fit snugly on the railing. My only complaint is that the elements eventually cause them to become brittle and crack. They only last two or three seasons and I do store them inside in the winter.

Did not accurately fit my deck rails causing it to blow off in high winds. I used extra heavy duty Velcro strips on railing & base of planter that solved the problem.

I have looked for the right planter for a long time, and when I saw this one on Gardener's supply, I immediately ordered it. We have wide wooden railing on our balcony and I did not want to ruin the wood with screws. So this was a perfect solution for me. The planter sits very sturdy on a railing, and it looks great

If you're trying to enhance a high wall make sure the plants you select will drape over the wall. However, the plants we selected take a long time cover even a small portion of the wall.

This planter is perfect for deck railings. There are no bolts or attachments needed -- it just places securely on top of the deck railing. And, they are deep and wide enough to hold medium-sized plants.

            Comments about : 30" 2 x 4 Railing Planter:

My parents always taught me that working the soil with your hands is good for the soul. The planters are a perfect fit on the railings and blend in well with the railing color, slightly above waist height so no bending or kneeling, are sturdy when it's windy, and the drainage holes are brilliant to keep plants for holding too much water. Apartment dweller I may be, but these planters give me a chance to work with my hands and refresh my soul while enjoying the outdoors.

I purchased these for a neighbor who is elderly and set them up on her porch rails. She is so happy tending her flowers without bending over. A big plus is everyone who knows her waves and yells hello as they drive by!
