Attractive in the garden, but not practical. Too shallow to hold much water, especially in the summer with heat. Also not sturdy to stand tall.

The bird bath was purchased for a neighbor who is a landscape designer. He had seen the item in a catalog but would not buy it for himself. He has already placed it in his yard, even though everything is covered in nine inches of snow!

Item was purchased as a Christmas present. It is an "eye catcher" for certain! and the recipient was thrilled when she opened it. Cannot comment on how many birds it will attract, or how well it will hold water since we are up North and it is winter. It is a most attractive piece!
