Comments about Bird Nest Planters:
With it being cold and plants are being eaten by the deer, I decided to use this small planter as a bird feeder for the winter months. I placed a stainless steel bowl inside the basket and added bird seed.
Non-stop activity from various birds as they have discovered a tasty new adventure stop to get a quick bite. They rest on the side get a seed or two. It has been quite the hit with chickadees, tufted titmice, pine warblers and towhees.
Sorry to say the squirrels have also discovered this new dining basketbowl.
Come spring I do plan to add flowers to create a lovely mini flower spot.
Right now it is the new hit for the birds to enjoy.

Comments about Bird Nest Planters:
I purchased the smaller size planters and the super moss liners to put in them.Very pretty addition to a garden however, they are not very deep and will only hold one small plant. I did not use one section of the post.I put small trailing plants in them and stuck them in my extra large flower pots that I had already filled with flowers and they look really nice.
