Yaktrax® treads give you sure footing on slippery steps, snow-covered sidewalks and icy parking lots. They're lightweight, flexible, and slip over boots instantly — no need to fool around with frozen buckles or straps. And because they have steel coil grips instead of sharp cleats, you can keep them in your coat pocket or glove compartment. Comments about Yaktrax® Pair:
I bought these becauseI am so afraid of falling in the winter. They are so easy to use and I even put them on to go to church then slipped them off once inside.
I bought a pair for my husband too but thought he would never try them. Well, he decided to use them while using our big snowblower and loved them. He said they were great and he didn't slip once.

Comments about Yaktrax® Pair:
I bought a pair for myself and love them...this pair was for a Christmas gift ... The one thing to remember is not to walk on regular floor, to be used in snow and ice only... You will not be sorry for having them ..and fits in my purse...

Comments about Yaktrax® Pair:
With my arthritis I have trouble walking in slippery conditions without falling but with the Yaktrax on my shoes I don't need to worry. I purchased a pair a year or 2 ago & still have them. I decided to get a second pair so that I could have 2 pair, allowing me to keep them near 2 doors rather than having to find them before I went outside. We also got a pair for my wife since she liked the way they worked for me. They are a little difficult to get in place on the shoes since they are tight but it is worth the trouble since it also means they won't come off the shoes very easily.

Comments about Yaktrax® Pair:
I put the YakTrax on after the first snow and leave them on through mud- season. I just leave them on one pair of boots. Must remove boots before stepping on wood or tile floors though - they can damage floors and also cause you, the human, to slip inside the house.

Comments about Yaktrax® Pair:
They stay on my boots all winter. I do not need to be falling down. I have recommended them to everyone. They should come off, which they do easily, when you come indoors onto a hard surface. The metal rings slip a bit on supermarket floors, etc.

Comments about Yaktrax® Pair:
Only minus about these is that if your boots/shoes are made of soft rubber, the wires may cut in. Worth it to protect against back breaking falls.
