At long last I have found my gardening boots and they were worth the wait. A steel shank in the footbed makes this a functional working boot, giving added support to the instep while digging. The top of the boot reaches just below my knee, which is not typical for me. I am 5'8" and the average gardening boot may cover my calf. The extra length means that my jeans stay inside and the dirt and water stay out. Now if someone could make functional gardening gloves that are as well designed as these boots, I would be one contented gardener!

I use these boots to work in our community garden and my backyard. Unlike other boots that I've tried, the fit is perfect--not to tight around the calf. They are virutally indestructible, waterproof, supportive. You can even tuck your pants inside the boot if you choose. These will last for a very lone time and I love them!

We have a tick problem so I've been looking for a good high boot to wear when gardening. This boot is the perfect height and very comfortable as well as supportive. I didn't receive the size I ordered (UK6) but that worked out okay, the smaller size fits me just right. Other gardening boots I've seen only go to mid-calf and were very open at the top. I feel more protected against ticks because this boot is high and the opening below your knee is narrow.

I have had two bouts with Lyme. I decided I needed serious garden boots and the red ones serve the purpose for me. I spray Off! on them whenever I go into the garden or woods and now feel very secure against the ticks.
The sales rep helped me pick out the best size based on the UK sizes and they fit perfectly.

These boots are great for slipping on and off as I work outdoors - keeping me protected from any possible snakes, ticks and general debris because of their height. I can even use them to work in the shallow area of my pond. The only downside is they are not the most comfortable shoes for walking etc.

I bought these to work in wetland areas. The calf is a little tight and I have fairly thin legs! It would be much easier to tuck in jeans if there was a bit more leg room. Otherwise, they are exactly what I wanted.

After seeing a Northern Water Snake in my garden next to the pond, I decided I needed a pair of boots that came up to my knees. The neighborhood hardware store sold men-sized black rubber boots; I purchased the smallest size but they were just too big, clumsy and uncomfortable to wear. My Wellies fit perfectly and are of very high quality...a must for me along with gardening gloves and a hat. My Wellies are RED and make me smile every time I wear them.
