This product is very cute and can be displayed year-round, not just for the Christmas Season. I was disappointed that the tree covers the only shutter on the back window of the cabin (it would have been cute to have that shutter showing. The tree should have been positioned over the missing shutter on the window).

This advent calendar is cute. I was disappointed with the quality of the animals and the cabin. The cabin could have been smaller in my opinion and it's a little difficult to get the animals out of the compartments. With such a large cabin a light could have been fixed inside to light the top window up. The door could have opened. I think there should have been more done to the outside of the cabin, ie. trees, outdoor stuff to put the animals on. I think the quality of the advent calendar does not live up to the price.

I bought two of these, one for each of my son's young families. Their kids loved setting these up, and enjoyed seeing all the woodland creatures and finding them behind a door each day. I would add a green felt "lawn, and some "snow", around the house. Nice display for Christmas, and good quality.
