I have purchased this support for summer and winter vining squash plants and think it will work great. It is sturdy construction, attractive shape. I am positioning it half in and half out of my small raised garden bed for the vining squash plants to grow over rather than on the ground. Folds flat for easy storage, has smooth black finish. Would work well for any climbing plant. Can adjust height/width depending upon how much you spread the two hinged sides apart. I think this will be well worth the money and expect to get several years of use from it.

Best Uses
- Vining Garden Plants
I bought this trellis to go on one end of my Gardener's 3'x6' raised garden bed, and it will fit there nicely. I had hoped it would be more 'heavy duty' than it is, but it may work fine. It is the same construction and wire thickness as the cucumber trellis. I bought it to support heavier squash plants like butternut, so will have to see how it works this fall. It clearly would be fine for lighter weight vining vegetables such as beans, peas, zucchini and crookneck squash. One plus is that it is already assembled, the top ends are joined with heavy duty screws that form the hinges, so it will open out as far as your space allows. The shipping box was too lightweight, and the hinged tops wore through the cardboard and the black finish was scratched off of top on both sides, so I am going to need to repaint those areas to prevent rust. Overall I think this trellis was worth the reasonable price paid, but the jury is still out until my first season of using it. Give it a 4 out of 5 at this time.
