Comments about Window Nest Box:
Received on time but the name of the item was written on box. Not very sneaky if it's a gift for someone in your house. One edge needed to be sanded as it was extremely rough. I haven't tried to hang it yet but I am a tad bit nervous about its stability with only three suction cups and the weight of a bird inside, not to mention wind. Over all it was exactly as pictured.

Comments about Window Nest Box:
What an awesome idea this is! We purchased it as a Christmas gift for our grandparents and were so excited to wrap it up and present it. The gift was delivered when expected, but unfortunately wasn't as ready-to-gift as we were hoping. It comes completely unfinished! If we had any time at all before the gift exchange we would've painted and finished it. Now the grandparents will have to do that themselves as it looks like an unfinished product, far from being Michigan-weather ready.
Nonetheless, they were excited and we're hoping it'll house a nice bird family in the Spring once we have time to complete it!

Comments about Window Nest Box:
Great idea but... I cleaned all dirt off the window, used alcohol where it would be placed and stuck the suction cups to it. Several birds checked it out but thank goodness none of them called it home. Every 2 or 3 days, it would fall from the window. Can you imagine if eggs or worse, babies were in there?! Id feel aweful! I'm going to add a wire or string to attach it to the top of the window sill. Just don't trust that it's secure with only the suction cups.

How to attract a variety of birds to your yard.

There are more than two dozen North American bird species that prefer to nest in a natural cavity. These cavity-nesting birds will often adapt to nesting in a birdhouse (also known as an artificial nesting box).
