Bought this as a Christmas gift for my folks (they are the master gardeners, not me!) who just downsized to a townhome with a tiny yard and certainly don't need gifts of more stuff or high calorie snacks. This fit the bill perfectly. They followed the instructions exactly and are on their third crop of mushrooms! Also bought them the portabella kit with same results (and I posted this review there as well).
