I used this product between beds I had made in my garden. I used it as my walkways. I used it for 5 years before i tore it out when i changed my gardening methods. After five full years in the garden it was still in great shape. I highly recommed this product.

Being second home gardeners this weed mat is working great for us. We use it in the garden paths. We keep buying more as we can afford it. We do take it up for the winter to ensure a longer life span for it.

I am using this product to cover my raised beds to cut down on weeding. In the past I have purchased this product and was very satisfied. This product will unravel but usually the edges are clean and neat and secure. This last purchase was disappointing because the cut was messy and raveling. Different supplier?? It works well as a weed mat but I do not like the unraveling part.

This is my favorite product from Gardener's Supply. I placed it on the paths between permanent beds in my vegetable and flower garden nearly 10 years ago and it has done a superb job of keeping the garden neat and weed-free. (Who wants to weed the path?!) I am re-designing the bed configuration and will be ordering and installing new weed mat this fall, although the old mat is still serviceable and will be used elsewhere. I cannot say enough positive things about this product and can't think of one negative thing!

I have HORRIBLE weed infestation in my vegetable garden from years of manure deliveries and mulch that was not decontaminated. This mat rolled out easily and has prevented all those crazy big, thick weeds from taking over my garden. LOVE this product!!!

I've had this installed for several years now in between my raised beds and it's still as good as when I first put it down. I used the earth staples and disks to hold it down. I had tried other landscaping materials in the past and they didn't last all that long and weren't as effective as this has been. I'm about to extend my garden and I'm buying more of this.

I put up a fence around my vegetable garden and had a 3 to 5 foot space between fence and edging of grass, that was about 50 feet long. I bought the Pro Weed Mat and it worked perfectly. I used round-up to kill the grass waited until grass was dead and unrolled the mat and used Gardener's ground stakes to keep it flat on both sides. Had to use about 150 ground stakes but I can walk on it, the dogs run on it it stays nice and flat.

I didn't need my 50' x 50' garden paths to be 3 feet wide so I used a sharp knife and cut the rolls in half before I unrolled them. I then sealed the edges with a small butane flame. It gave me twice the length. The ends and cut edges must be sealed. Tape will not hold up as long. This product has saved me hours and hours of weeding and can be walked on while the garden is soggy muddy.

I don't usually spend money on weed cloth by instead using paper and cardboard under mulch to keep weeds down around plants and on pathways (just too much for large acreage). But between raised vegetable beds this 'mat' is much more efficient and tidy (especially if harvesting veggies in sandals instead of garden work shoes). This laid down easily, lets water through and seems much tougher than other cloths that I've seen. Very professional looking and great for home gardens, too. Haven't had it for a full season so didn't give 5 stars yet.
