As I get older I am looking for more ways to avoid pulling weeds etc. I tried this fabric last year--earth stapled it down in an area that was a real weed problem area. Weeds did not get through. I am adding more this year!

I use this between raised beds in garden to decrease weeding and keep my feet dry when working in garden. I put some down 8 years ago, and it still works great. Very durable! My cats love it too. Only drawback is it ravels when cut.
I plan to buy more.

We ordered this for two purposes: to place in front of a new retaining wall under river rocks surrounding new plants and to use between the raised boxes in our garden to prevent weeds. It goes down very easily and seems to be very sturdy--much sturdier than locally sold material that was more expensive. I will know more after this summer when we walk on the garden pathways. Delivery was fast and the information from your call-in personnel was correct and friendly.

This past spring I dug up part of the lawn to extend my vegetable garden - Yup I'm convinced veggies outrank grass in both taste and texture. I'm a 65 year old woman -not in the best physical condition. I managed to lay this cloth down and anchor it with earth staples by myself. Walking on it is no problem - water does not stay on it either. I grow my veggies in vegetable bags which I have placed on top of the black plastic. I intend to cover the exposed plastic with bark mulch - just to make the backyard look pretty - mulch is not really necessary.

I use this product in my vegy garden to keep the weeds back from season to season. I layed down between the raised beds last year then got the next part done this winter. I can walk on it and throw other dirt on it then wash it off etc. It stays put for the most part without stakes but I am adding them due to a windy year.
It does not puddle like plastic as it 'breathes'.
So far I have nothing bad to say about it. Haven't had it down long enough to give a longevity report. I do not let my chickens in the garden area.

We use this product in the spaces between raised beds. Simply roll out and pin it down. After the first rain it settles onto the soil and provides a great working surface. Our first set has been in the garden exposed to full sun (Texas) for 5 years now and shows only fading to a dark grey. Drains quick. Make sure to overlap product 4-6" at seams. We also run it 4" under the edges of the raised beds to prevent weeds at the edges. I love this product.

These walkways do not let water puddle and when the ground is muddy I can walk on them and not sink. Weeds absolutely do not grow through. My first set are 5 years old and still going strong.
