      We have these throughout our home and love them-while looking for a special gift for someone I saw this and thought it would be something anyone would like. The receiver of the gift has mentioned several times how much she loves this gift and how helpful it is-it tends to make you aware of its readings when making plans etc-every home needs one on each floor-we have ours in bedroom-kitchen and basement family room-we refer to them on a daily basis

          We had the earlier model for over four years. It was the outside sensor that quit, but the indoor unit still provides indoor temp. The new unit has the forecast feature, which we love. Once you get through the programming, it's great.
