Hard to believe, but these mats will hold up to 1-1/2 gallons of liquid per square yard! The waterproof rubber backing and "water dam" edge keep moisture, mud, and grit contained. Just vacuum clean when dry. Super-tough polypropylene mats have raised, crushproof nubs to scrape boot bottoms clean. Gripper nubs on bottom keep mats from slipping or skidding. Choice of several styles in Charcoal, Evergreen, Medium Brown or Dark Brown.

Comments about Water Glutton Doormats:
I can't say enough about these mats. Originally I purchased one to see how it went and then went on to purchase the runner and large mats for our kitchen, mudroom and garage.
Even in wet, snowy weather as well as our infamous "mud" season, these mats enable my family of 7 to be able to keep their shoes on in the house AND keep our floors clean!
The mats contain the water from melted snow and ice and can handle several cups of dirt and sand with their deep treads. Even after we "clean" them, we can coil the mats and turn them on their side only to get an addition cup or two of "hidden" dirt out of them - all dirt which DID NOT end up in my carpets!
I've had these mats for over 3 years and they have survived my 5 teenagers and their myriad of friends!
These are a MUST BUY!

Comments about Water Glutton Doormats:
Dog accidents ruined our beautiful front entrance rug and almost damaged the hardwood floors under the rug. I resigned myself to buying a boring, but efficient mat. These looked better than I excpected! Now, when the dog has an accident we remove the soaked mat (floors are perfectly dry underneath), we scrub down the mat, hose it off and let it dry in the sunshine (one day outside.) Protects the floors, cleans easily and dries nicely. Perfect for dog owners!

Comments about Water Glutton Doormats:
The sizes advertized need to be updated. The smallest one 35x23 is not even close. It's more like 32x21. The next size up I'm keeping though. I've had it for a year now and it still looks like new. Doesn't curl, easy to clean. We live out in the country so lots of dirt is dealt with here. Would recommend to anyone but the advertisement should revise the measurements more accurately.

Comments about Water Glutton Doormats:
loved to get this product as I needed a larger, more durable mat when we come in from the outside with all the snow/ice/dirt/sand. I was very disappointed by the sizing though. I figured the size may be off by an inch or so and that's not a big deal but it was 4" narrower than it claimed and 3 inches shorter. On a 3' by 5' I think that's a lot to be off.

Finally, I found a rug that won't slip, is attractive, will attract moisture, dirt, stones, and mud. Our wooden floor remain clean. We bought the largest, love the length and the price.

Comments about Water Glutton Doormats:
The rug was a bit narrower than advertised but was documented by other reviews which is the reason I bought it. Had it been the full width, it would not have fit thru the inside doorway - I bought the long runner. Very pleased with this and think it will last a long time even tho it is in the high traffic entrance area of our home.

I also find my runner to measure exactly 32x80. It is advertised for 35x82. This is quite a descrepancy. But, it is excellent quality.

Comments about Water Glutton Doormats:
I waited to buy the 35 x 82 mat because it seemed quite expensive, but I finally ordered it. It is quite a rugged, heavy-duty mat that does not shift at all. It's been easy to clean with a sweeper, as we've had no wet weather to speak of yet, and that works quite well. It looks like it would handle hosing off outside with no problem (although it may be a bit heavy to wrestle outside). It's really not that thick, but I did have to have two of three doors trimmed so they would clear the mat (be forewarned). The color medium brown matches the clay soil we track in quite well.
My only problem has been the size. It was advertised as 35 x 82, although in fairness, the description does say "Sizes are nominal and may vary slightly." My doorway opening is 36 inches, so I thought this would be perfect. My actual mat is 31-5/8 x 80-5/8! It is 3-3/8 inches shorter in width and 1-3/8 inch shorter in length. This makes the width 90% of the stated width. So 10% shorter than stated is "slightly" shorter? I guess this is a matter of definition, but to me, almost 3-1/2 inches shorter in width is NOT a slight difference. I think the measurements should more closely represent the product. I just wish it covered my 36-inch door width more fully. Other than this disappointment, this is one terrific doormat that looks like it will last forever!

Comments about Water Glutton Doormats:
I think these have changed names, but they're the same product that I bought. I've owned one of the runner mats and two of the large mats in charcoal for a couple of months. I have them placed at entryways to our house including one from the garage and one from the backyard/garden. They get high traffic and have little to no evidence of wear, so I imagine these will hold up for a long time. The texture grips to your shoes and easily pulls off materials you may have tracked in, while also retaining water well. If you can get these on sale, it's an even better value.
