Comments about Wardian Case with Grow Light:
I like the idea and the look of the growing case, but the hinge on the top broke after four weeks and I was always carefully. I call GS and they sent a new roof to replace the broken one. Thank you GS. I think it might happen again as the weld does not look good it is imported.

Comments about Wardian Case with Grow Light:
This is a functional and attractive lighted case.
It is not meant to germinate seeds. We intend to use it for transplants that have been grown from seed germinated on a heated mat and light assembly. Later, this case will be used to display other plants.

Comments about Wardian Case with Grow Light:
I have another one dfft brand, not as nice. Wish had bottom shelf to better utilize space instead of decorative wire. Using not only for plants, but also for box turtle to live.
The light is super addition. Wondering where to find replacement tube, not listed to purchase.

Comments about Wardian Case with Grow Light:
I liked it but did'nt like the loose glass and what about the triangle shaped sides of the cover? Were they supposed to have glass? Would like more stability.

Comments about Wardian Case with Grow Light:
I wanted to love this planter so much! But it is absolutely awful. The parts don't fit together - everything from the glass "walls" to the grow light. Actually, I called my brother in to help me, thinking I was messing something up, and he said there was no way what was sent with the terrarium could mount and hold the light. One of the hinges was broken off the top of the roof, and we had to glue that back on. To get the glass to stay in the long sides we used super glue. The short sides I didn't bother. We ended up gluing the light to the top of the roof, too. And the whole thing is flimsy. This wouldn't be so annoying if I'd bought this as is at a flea market, but paying $200+??? No no no. I'd send it back, but there was no shipping label with it and I"m not paying the money to send the thing back. Plus, now it's rigged to work. Basically run screaming from this item.
Pros
- Attractive Design
- Holding Capacity
Cons
- Fluorescent bulb broke
Best Uses
- Household Plants
- Window Decoration
Comments about Wardian Case with Grow Light:
Not a big concern but the fluorescent bulb was broken on arrival. I just ordered an extra one and now is ok. It made a mess with the glass chards that spilled onto the floor when I opened it. Perhaps some more substantial protection or different shipment configuration should be developed. Hopefully I am an isolate case

Comments about Wardian Case with Grow Light:
This is a beautifully made, sturdy metal case for houseplants. Only negative is that the two triangular upper end-pieces are open (no glass), so the case does not hold humidity in winter months. I fixed this with plastic wrap!
Pros
- Attractive Design
- Holding Capacity
Cons
- Light clip did not work

Comments about Wardian Case with Grow Light:
I love this terrarium! I have it in my bedroom, where I can see it every morning. It is a beautiful, yet practical accesory in my room. I am growing miniature sinningias, and they love the T-5 light.
I am not sure why they describe a "pull-out tray", as the bottom on mine is one piece, and is attached to the frame and legs. One problem that I had was that the clip provided for mounting the light did not fit over the suspended wire and light fixture. My handy husband rigged the light with some copper wire. Also, there was a slight scratch on the black finish of the swinging top piece. I feel that the finish is rather fragile. These minor flaws are not enough to spoil my opinion of this beautiful ornament, though!
