Our desk is in our kitchen and I bought this to organize our bills in an attractive way. The three slots are large enough to hold bills, checkbooks, etc. The slate is nice for labeling what needs to go where. It is quite heavy, so you may need to use heavy duty hangers.

I have these hanging on the wall in my laundry room to organize incoming mail. Everyone in my family can have their bin with their name written on the slate...important school info can go in the kids bins also. These bins help keep everything organized without having piles of paper everywhere!

I searched for weeks on the internet for a wall organizer for my kitchen. I needed something to sort and hold the mail for everyone in my house. This was the perfect size and look. I love the antiqued look and the real slate. Most organizers looked cheap, small or too office like. This one is definitely not. I hung it up as soon as I got it and it looks like it has always been in my kitchen.
