These are really strong, sturdy supports! They look like they should hold up year after year, as they are much heavier than any of the others I have. I don't think they're wide enough for tomatoes, but they should be GREAT for my eggplants (which were dragging on the ground last year).

I needed supports for my bell peppers and REALLY didn't want to use those ugly tomato cages. These are perfect for containers...I have 3 in a whiskey barrel. You do want to support your plants early so you don't damage your plants. These hug your plants. So far they're great...and since they stack I'm thinking about other uses.

This is a very sturdy support. I bought it for peppers and eggplants, and it is just the right size. It has a slight "V" shape, so I can put my plant inside the "V" and it gives perfect support. Smooth, heavy wire construction. I bought several different supports, all in the dark green coated color, and they look great in my small raised garden. This is my first year, so can't attest to how long they will last, but from the looks of them I expect several years of use. May buy a few more later.
