Update: Grow What You Eat
More than 26,000 gardeners have now taken the Grow What You Eat Pledge. Everyone who signs the pledge is automatically entered into our weekly Raised Bed Giveaway. We’ve selected more than 20 winners. Congratulations go out to all of them, including Rose O’Brien of Shoreline, WA; Elizabeth Stump of Castro Valley, CA; Sheri Powell-Wolff of Los Angeles, CA, Judy Thornton from Clinton Township, MI. Willa Nemetz of Windsor, CT, Michelle Marella of Rockton, IL, Lisa Nash of Putney, VT, Irene Pruden of San Diego, CA, and Tammy O'Hagen of Thornton, WV. The giveaway continues until November, so please help us spread the word.
Spread the Word and Share The Pledge
Have a friend, neighbor, relative or coworker who is growing a vegetable garden this summer? Encourage her or him to take the Grow What You Eat pledge. You can enter multiple e-mail addresses at once — it takes only a minute!
We’ll be back next month with some photos of our company’s Harvest for the Hungry project (we’ve planted 30 raised beds full of veggies for the local food shelf).
Take the Pledge
Since we launched the Grow What You Eat campaign this April, 20,000 gardeners have pledged to grow at least 10 lbs. of food this summer. It takes less than a minute to sign the pledge and share it with family, friends, neighbors or colleagues. Click ShareThis right beneath the pledge button to enter multiple e-mail addresses.
