Two-Tier Bed Assembles in MinutesNo Tools Required
We love this bed because it’s so easy to assemble and provides lots of growing space. Use the 12" deep upper tier for tomatoes, potatoes or root crops; use the 6" deep lower level for lettuce, herbs, beans and peppers. Double-thick sidewalls add extra strength and help insulate plant roots. Plastic row cover hoops are included to support bird netting or season-extending garden fabric. Easy, no-tool assembly.

Comments about Two-Tier Raised Bed:
I read the reviews before I made my purchase of two of these beds. The biggest complaint seemed to be that there were no instructions for assembling the cover. It seems that problem has been solved as both of my beds had an additional sheet with excellent pictures and instructions. It does take patience to get the pegs that hold it together to go through all of the holes that need to line up perfectly.
Pros
- Can Be Assembled Alone

- But Do Able
- Hoops Hard To Put

Comments about Two-Tier Raised Bed:
I bought this since my other raised beds (wooden) begin to rot after 3-5 years. I can think of no better use for plastic than this since plastic in landfills lasts for hundreds of years. Time will tell but impressed so far.

Comments about Two-Tier Raised Bed:
I try to add at least one raised bed a year. This spring it was this item. I love the hoops, they have saved my crops from squirrels and birds, and they were an extra that I wasn't looking for in a raised bed. The only problem I had was assembling the two hoops that were supposed to go side by side, there really wasn't enough room to do that well.

Comments about Two-Tier Raised Bed:
After reading other people's reviews, I noticed that one mentioned trying to get replacement parts from England where it was manufactured. Funny. Mine came from China and the instructions implied that. They made little or no sense. Ended up not even using the hoops.

Cons

Comments about Two-Tier Raised Bed:
I live in a townhouse in a subdivision and rent a community garden plot located in a local county park. This product offers the portability required (setup and takedown) with extreme ease. The only setback was trying to figure out how to assemble the netting hoops. The product instructions are not helpful in this area only. Because this is a garden plot in a local county park netting to keep the deer and birds at bay is extremely important. We finally figured out the hoop assembly but many hours later. Love the product and will likely add another bed next year.
Pros

Comments about Two-Tier Raised Bed:
After moving three times in three years I was sick of building (and leaving) raised beds from wood. I set this up here in upstate NY in early March- a bit early, but covered with plastic and then summer weight garden fabric and bird netting (to keep our DOG out!), my veggies got off to an early start! The hoops were easy to take out once the weather was nicer and the plants got bigger. It was very quick and easy to assemble-- maybe 20 minutes including unpacking the box. The directions for the arches were lacking, but it was easy to figure out by looking at the picture on this website. I put this right over my lawn, laying cardboard and weedcloth down underneath, lay a brick border around it to avoid damaging the sides with the weedeater, and filled with peat/compost/vermiculite. That soil mix is pretty lightweight, so the sides have not bowed even a bit. I also have not noticed any sun bleaching, but again, I live in upstate NY. Several neighbors saw how easy my garden came together and want to get this raised bed!

Comments about Two-Tier Raised Bed:
I just purchased 2 of these. How much soil is needed for each? Also, these are not designed to be stacked, but has anyone done this and what else is needed to do this?
