This cover works well when you are able to place it "just right". When the lid is on, you can't carry the tub one handed anymore. If you need a cover, this is a good product but perhaps someone can make it a bit more flexible and better sealing?

So great to add a cover to my tubtrugs. I no longer need to limit my use to outdoor and gardening, but can store odd sized tools, toys, or even Christmas decorations and keep them clean.
I am using this lid just to keep the dust off the items placed inside. The lid also gives one the advantage of being able to stack multiple tubs. Not designed to provide a tight seal. The lid can shift easily.

The cover isn't water tight, which is what I was hoping for. It may say that in the product description and I just overlooked it. I was going to use this bucket to keep dog poop in temporarily between scoopings and garbage day, but the cover lets the moisture in and odor out, so it's not a good use for it. After a thorough cleaning, it now works great for storage of stuff in the back of the car. I like that it's flexible and light-weight, but strong. Great colors, too!

this is not useful to me- I ordered it because I have loved every tubtrug i've ever ordered and use each one extensively and love that they stand up to serious use and strain. this lid doesn't fit very well and is so stiff and heavy in relation to the feel and heft of the tubtrugs. I prefer mine lidless but maybe it's useful for some.
