I needed to remove some rock from a flower bed and was trying to come up with the best (and easiest!) way to get the job done. When I saw this product I knew it would do the job and I was right. I shoveled rock into the colander and shook it to remove dirt and smaller debris, washed it, and then transferred the rock to a walkway where it looks much better!

Great invention and addition for the tub trug. Will use it when the vegetable garden comes in. Love the being able to rinse things before I bring them into the house for processing.

The catalog picture made it appear that I would get the tub trug and the collandar. I was disappointed when I didn't. I wish they had made it more clear. I don't think the price is right for the collandar alone. Also, it is a little small for harvesting and rinsing veggies.
Pros
- Sturdy
Cons
Best Uses
- Washing Produce
It fits the trug perfectly allowing it to be filled to capacity. I wash fruits and veggies in the trug then lift the colander out to drain. When I juice lemons, I place the colander in the trug before picking, then lift the lemons out in the colander and use the trug for the rinds. Sweet!
