Water Rings Help Plants and Trees Thrive 2 Ways

Transplanted trees and shrubs often struggle along for several years before they start to show much growth. The most common culprits are under-watering and over-fertilizing. These Water Rings are the solution to both problems. The five-gallon reservoir prevents the dry-out that stunts growth, and you can add fertilizer a little at a time to promote strong root development.

  • Prevents setback of new plantings
  • Holds 5 gallons of water and nutrients
  • Prevents runoff and drought
  • Cover with mulch if desired

      Comments about Water Ring:

I have several of these water rings around my fruit trees and they're terrific. We live on an acre, so dragging the sprinkler down to the fruit trees wasn't easy or efficient. The rings hold 5 gal. and take the water right down to the root zone instead of evaporating. I've told several people about these rings and they've all bought them as well.

I am using on new plantings. Water drains out too quickly. A 3 gallon recycled plastic litter container with small holes is just as efficient.

        Comments about Water Ring:

The holes are too large for water seepage purposes. I filled the container with water and fertilizer thinking it was going to seep out slowly over at least a couple of days, but instead it drained in a couple of hours. I could have watered and fed the shrubs and trees myself without the containers. I was only trying to save the daily chore of watering the young trees which I planted recently.

                Comments about Water Ring:

Doesn't retain water and feed my saplings slowly, as I hoped it would do. Not attractive, and so very large so it will take a lot of digging to get it buried to ground level to "hide" it. I generally love all your products, but this one does not do it for me.

Using for newly planted "Fruit Cocktail Tree". It was hard to give the right amount of water from hose or watering can. Water ring was perfect. Can be removed easily to use on another starter tree.

The water runs out of this tree ring too fast, but it is all directed at the tree roots and helps to keep track of how much water the plant is actually getting

                      Comments about Water Ring:

These are GREAT, especially with young trees that need the help. You really should take them in during winter if you are in a colder zone because they can crack. But, they seem fine with mild temperatures. Really a time saver and advantage to new growth.
