Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I have a small new tree near my entryway that I'm trying to straighten and am so glad that I found this stake. It is so pretty while still doing its job! Before the grips were available, I tried other methods to secure the tree to the stake, but none worked or looked very well. I was so glad when the grips came as they are simple to use, very functional, look good & won't hurt the tree, although I did wrap the tree first anyway. (I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my plants & trees!) The stakes would be very useful in other sizes and perhaps had one or 2 more places on them to secure the grips without slipping. I wish I had ordered more grips before they went out of stock again, as I have found many uses for them around the yard. I am an avid birder and used one grip to secure a feeder in a tree as they seem very strong. I also combined 2 to hold up a falling clematis. Hope they keep making them & also in different sizes & widths. A very good way to recycle rubber!!

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
These elegant plant/tree stakes make handsome supports for my tall grasses which tend to fall down toward the end of the season. I place several around each grass and lace rawhide through the openings to encircle and support the grass at a height that allows it to drape and sway in the wind, but not fall onto other plants or the ground.

Cons
- Not tall enough
Best Uses

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I should have left the original tree stakes in place. Winter storms caused my young tree to bend over and continuing growing that way. These tree stakes are elegant and sturdy, but they are not tall enough for my needs on this tree. I would definitely buy them for staking any of my flowering bulb plants or smaller bushes and trees. So far they have held up to summer storms, neighborhood dogs and the resident groundhog.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
These are attractive and easy to use. My only concern is their length (approx 4'), which is too short.
