Tree Rings Look Tidy, Protect Trees from Damage by Mowers and Trimmers
- Scatterproof rubber mulch always looks crisp and neat
- Suppresses weeds better than bark mulch
- Protects tree trunks from trimmer and mower damage
- Choice of Walnut or Redwood
These recycled rubber tree rings will never scatter, even when you run a mower over them. Unlike bark mulch, they don’t acidify the soil, and don’t need to be replaced each year. The rings suppress weeds while letting air and water reach tree roots. They also keep mowers and trimmers away from trunks, preventing damage to bark. Slits allow easy placement around trunk. Center holes can be enlarged. Choice of Walnut or Redwood. We also offer 36" diameter Tree Rings.
- Recycled tire rubber
- 24" in diameter x approx. 1/2" thick
- For best results, remove sod before laying mulch

I love the real mulch look. However, I didn't realize that the ring would look so small under my little tree. It's made for a small tree, but even there it is small. I would definitely go for the 36" next time.
Pros
- Easy To Install
- Easy to mow around
Cons
Best Uses
- Small trees and shrubs
Installed two in less than 5 minutes and they are holding well. They have made mowing around my little trees much easier!

I love the glove and the small tub (I have the larger ones). I hated the tree ring but didn't think I could return it since I had cut the interior to fit my tree. When I got the size right I laid it down and thought it was awful and three it away. I didn't think I could return it since I cut it. I would also like to return the water tower. I saw one at a store and I don't think I will like it so it remains in its box but I tossed the box it was delivered in. How do I send it back?
Pros
- Ease to mow over
- Easy to shake off grass
- Really works
- Very Useful
Cons
- none
Best Uses
- Around trees
Bought two for a lilac tree and a tree form Rose of Sharon, then my daughter requested one for a little smoke tree we were just starting. Works very well at keeping grass and weeds away from tree trunks, although you do have to pick them up now and then to shake off grass clippings and leaves.
Pros
- Easy to mow
- Suppress weeds
Cons

I love these! I have had them for a number of years, and they are still doing their job. They make mowing much easier without having to put down mulch every year. What a great way to use recycled material!
I bought these rings for some new shrubs in my yard.Hoping they would keep the weeds down. They did exactly what I wanted them to do.NO WEEDS and you can go right over them with the lawn mower and it doesn't hurt them.Makes me one happy gardener.
