Comments about Pruning Stik Tree Pruner:
I used it to cut thick and thin branches off of my flowering trees and an overgrown maple tree. Every cut was easy and smooth! The reach allows me to safely cut higher than I normally would attempt. LOVE IT!

Comments about Pruning Stik Tree Pruner:
I have a Chinese Elm that I can't kill. The nursery suggested I 'starve' it by cutting all green shoots as they come out on the stump. It has grown back from a stump 5 times in 10 years! The ease of using this cutter from my scooter means I can do this cutting on my own. I cut all low hanging branches on my shrubs and trees also. My neighbor has thorny vines on our shared fence and I can trim them easy with this.
I do all my veggie and herb gardening in raised beds, from my Rascal scooter.

This pruner is very easy to use and lightweight. It is not a struggle to cut branches over your head.

Comments about Pruning Stik Tree Pruner:
This is a great tool. I have used it primarily for pruning and "limbing up" trees and large shrubs. It operates very smoothly and makes nice clean cuts. It is light enough to use while up on a ladder. When cutting larger branches you do need to maintain a tight grip to prevent the pole from twisting, causing the blades to overlap and jam, but that's not really a design flaw, just something to be aware of. This tool should really be though of as loppers with a long reach...you will still need a saw for larger branches.

Comments about Pruning Stik Tree Pruner:
I use this tool to trim my neighbors trees since they don't bother and their trees shade my yard. It is light weight and it shears branches nicely. I was really looking for a tool with even a longer reach since I am not able to navigate ladders much anymore. The price as I said above was excessive. [$] and there really isn't much to it. Half the price would be more in line with the value.Thank you,Marsha W. Marren

Comments about Pruning Stik Tree Pruner:
The first time I used the pruner, I thought I had missed the branch I was trying to cut. The cutting action was so smooth and easy, I didn't realize I had made the cut until the branch fell at my feet. It is a good length for trimming small fruit trees and large bushes while standing on the ground.

Comments about Pruning Stik Tree Pruner:
Have only used it once but I trimmed several tree branches that were up higher than I could reach with my other tools and it worked as I had hoped and then some. I was surprised how well it cut the branches with little effort. So far I love it. If the blades stay sharp at least for a season or two this definitely deserves a 5 star. It would make a great gift!!! Perfect for ornamental size trees but good for anything in my yard.

Comments about Pruning Stik Tree Pruner:
This is a wonderful pruner! Because it is light weight and has a long reach, you no longer have to get up and down and move a ladder. I have also used it to prune nuisance trees that grow up into my rows of evergreen trees - saves me from crawling beneath them to prune.
