have used this for years - I actually mix it half & half with Germinating Mix. seeds germinate quickly and grow healthy. the years I used other products purchased in garden stores locally, I had problems. Gardeners Supply gets it right.

I was very sceptical about buying "dirt" online. I'm VERY glad I did. I have never used separate germination & transplant mixes before, and the seedlings that I transplanted into this mix are larger and have more roots than those in the stuff I normally use. I will definitely use this mix again next year!
