I use the transplant mix for transplanting as it is designed but I also find it useful as a potting soil. It is pretty consistent from year to year and bag to bag. I've been using it for several years now.

Comments about Transplant Mix, 30 Qts.:
I was very sceptical about buying "dirt" online. I'm VERY glad I did. I have never used separate germination & transplant mixes before, and the seedlings that I transplanted into this mix are larger and have more roots than those in the stuff I normally use. I will definitely use this mix again next year!
