Exclusive | Extra-Tall Tomato Towers Support Your Tallest Tomatoes

  • Super-sturdy cages keep your tallest tomato plants upright for a bigger, cleaner harvest
  • Big, 8" square openings make harvesting easy
  • Hinged panels fold flat for compact storage
  • Choice of Red, Green or Steel Gray
  • Set of 2

You asked us for taller tomato cages and here they are! Our heavy-duty, steel Tomato Towers are much taller and stronger than old-fashioned cone-shaped supports, ready to support your biggest indeterminate tomato plants. The towers support plants on all sides (no tying needed) and keep plants up off the ground for better air circulation, cleaner fruit and fewer diseases. Large openings make harvesting easy, and the towers fold flat for off-season storage. 53" high installed. In windy locations, we recommend anchoring these towers with our Extra-Tall Earth Staples, sold separately.

  • Steel Gray is galvanized steel; Red and Green are powder-coated steel
  • 14-1/4" square x 65" H including 11" legs
  • 53" H installed
  • 8" square openings
  • Sturdy 10 gauge wire
  • Easy, no-tools assembly
  • Cages fold for off-season storage
  • Gardener's Supply Exclusive

Comments about Tomato Towers, Set of 2:

It seems hard to believe that the tiny tomato plants that I just planted will grow above and beyond the tomato towers that I just installed, but by August, I know the plants will be climbing over them. The towers are easy to install, lightweight and a very attractive color. They add a bright and colorful spot to my yard.

Comments about Tomato Towers, Set of 2:

Product is great, just what I was looking for.
I ordered 4 sets of 2 in a single order -- they were all strapped together in a very heavy single bundle (I couldn't lift or move them, and the Fedex delivery driver was struggling) -- the packaging for each set is just a very thin sheet of cardboard, so they didn't survive the transit very well -- legs sticking through card, several were bent, some cages very difficult to open (joints locked together).
Recommendations: (1) ship these in much more substantial packaging (2) don't bundle several sets together into a package

Comments about Tomato Towers, Set of 2:

Found these towers easy to assemble. You need to secure the bottom portion into the ground first then add the top. It takes a few seconds to get all the pins lined up. These red ones are especially attractive in my garden. I did not give them 5 stars as I need to see how well they hold up my tomato plants at full growth.....plants are only about a foot high right now. I have high hopes they will do the job when my plants are 5 feet. So far I have not seen any rust. They have been in the ground since Feb and we have had a fair amount of rain. Love these red towers!

I'm using these with earth boxes which required a bit of adapting. So far I'm quite pleased, but won't really know until I grow a crop of tomatoes.

Thought these were my answer to my very abundant Beefsteak tomatoes. I had to add additional support posts and these were still pulling out of the ground and fell over putting the whole plant and all the fruit all over the ground. Just didn't have enough stability to handle a tall and fully loaded plant.

I have ten of these towers.I recently gave 2 sets to my niece for her bridal shower. The towers are sturdy, offering great support to the most gangly of plants. They collapse for easy storage.

These have stood up to 85 mph wind, even without the extra staples. They stay upright with fully grown tomato plants. Easy to store. They aren't cheap. I purchased 4 a year and now have enough for my usual 12 plants. 1st ones purchased still in great shape. I had squash plants growing up some of them last year.

Comments about Tomato Towers, Set of 2:

These are the sturdiest tomato supports I've ever seen ... much better than the usual ones found at garden centers. They are tall enough to support the tomato vines as they grow taller during the course of the summer and don't bend with the weight of the vines and fruit. I bought four of them a few years ago and now bought more so that I'd have enough for all my tomato plants. The only complaint is that the short bent-over pieces of wire rod are sharp and I've gotten some cuts on my hands when setting the cages up and taking down. Now I wear gloves when handling the cages.
