Exclusive | Success Kits Grow Bigger, Healthier Tomatoes – Garden-Tested and Guaranteed!

  • The most convenient, foolproof way to grow your own delicious tomatoes
  • Self-watering to provide a steady supply of moisture for optimal tomato production
  • Container growing reduces weeding and chances of soil-borne disease
  • Includes planter, cage support, soil mix and fertilizer

Our exclusive Tomato Success Kits have helped thousands of gardeners grow big crops of healthier, tastier tomatoes. The self-watering planter has a generous, 4-gallon reservoir that provides a steady flow of moisture to plants. This eliminates the "drought and drown" cycle that stresses plants, helping your tomatoes outperform garden-grown plants by 30% or more. The kit includes a two-part stacking tomato cage and 40 quarts of our exclusive Self-Watering Container Mix. It also includes 1-1/2 lbs. of Gardener's Best Organic Tomato Fertilizer, an 8-5-5 slow-release fertilizer that is fortified with 4-1/2% calcium to help prevent blossom end rot.

  • Self-Watering Planter is 26" L x 19-3/4" W x 10-1/2" H
  • Tomato Cage is 14-1/2" W x 21-1/2" D x 30" H with 8" legs (38" overall)
  • Two 20-quart bags of Self-Watering Container Mix
  • 1-1/2 lbs. of 8-5-5 Gardener's Best Organic Tomato Fertilizer (contains meat, bone and blood meals; hydrolyzed feather meal, sulfate of potash and calcium)
  • For best results, plant two determinate or one indeterminate tomato
  • Tomato plants not included
  • Patented

      Needs to include simple instructions

There where no instructions on how to set it up. I set it up incorrectly the first time and had to re-do it again after I had added the soil.
The soil is not really soil but a mixture of vemiculite and other fibers. When left out in the rain the "soil" gets moldy, so you have a bed of mold all around your tomatoes.

We recently moved to a new house and discovered that we have deer so we have to garden on our back upper deck. Bought this kit, put it together in 20 minutes, followed the directions for adding water, planted 3 plants in it and am now waiting for the yummy results. I have had it for a about month and between the resevoir and local rains, I have not had to water the container once. Not worrying about watering while we are on vacation will be great. The plants are growing like gangbusters, the soil and fertilizer is included, and the plants have taken off beautifully. This is so foolproof, it will be up to me to mess something up! I would definitely recommend and/or buy this again.

We love our Tomato Success Kit. I bought it 4 years ago and the bases have survived 4 years in the brutal Colorado sun! Speaking of Colorado, our dry climate requires that we're filling up the water reservoir daily, but I've found that the water is evenly distributed (versus evaporating from pools at the top of the soil) and our tomatoes do really well. Last year I had a great yield of cucumbers our 2nd planter (we have 3 total) and this year I'm trying snap peas. I bought one for my dad this year for Father's Day. He's 76 and rather than having to walk to his garden anymore he now grows his tomatoes on the deck - where he has more stability and is able to sit in a chair and tend to the plants. I highly recommend the tomato success kit!

It was fairly easy to put together.. I did find one clip on the cage that was not working. All set up and now waiting for the tomatoes to appear:-) By the end of summer I should know if this works.... I like the size of the grids on the cage.. My hand can go in and check the plants out......

I planted two indeterminate tomatoes two weeks ago and they are already huge and bearing fruit. Very easy to put together. I'm glad I splurged and got the complete kit. The soil is light and fluffy and the trellis/tomato cage is perfect and looks like it will hold a fair amount of weight. Would give 5 stars but I don't know how the tomatoes will be yet. Very happy with the kit.

This kit is better than I imagined it would be. A definite plus is buying the rollers so the planter box can turn in all directions for proper sun exposure. It actually rolls easily over uneven brick patio pavers. At first I was using watering cans to fill the water receptacle - not very convenient. Better to roll it to a hose source as the water capacity is large. The amount of soil provided was exact - a great buy!
