Tomato Success Kit Replenishment Pack

My tomatoes are bigger and beefier growing in this soil mixture thant the ones in the regular garden. I absolutely recommend this to anyone!

I have been purchasing this replenishment kit for a number of years now, and this version is my least favorite. There is much more work involved in re-hydrating and separating the coconut fibers than there is in mixing up the soil. Also, this is the first year I have anything but the greatest success - only one plant is thriving, the other is nearly dead but that could be due to a sick plant. I am not enough of a gardener to know.

This is our third year growing tomatoes in your Tomato Success rectangular containers using your Refill Kit. However, this year we received 2 square blocks of some coconut shreading mix called "Eco-co Coir" along with one bag of self watering Container Mix and a bag of tomato fertilizer.
I think the coconut shreds are inferior to using 2 bag of your container mix. The coir clumps, and seems to be soggy in spite of my using the watering hole in the self watering planter. Also, I think the one bag of tomato fertilizer had too much crushed particles and not enough little pellets as in the bottle from previous years. Also, I like the idea of fertilizing after 4 or 6 weeks of growth and your bottled fertilizer provided for that.
Of course, my tomato plants are in the beginning stages. They do have some blossoms, so maybe it will work out OK in the end. If not, I don't think we'll be using the Success Replenishment Kit next year!

I purchased the Tomato Success Kit last year. The Replenshing Kit is easy to mix and refill the container. What a relief knowing that the soil is taking on the responsibility of keeping the tomatoes wataered. I can[t wait to taste my tomatoes this year!

I love the many tomato's that grow.
It is easy to manage.
It will hold two plants successfully.
No cons in the years I have used the kit.

The replenishment pack along with the self watering tub that I purchased several years ago has been easy and fun to use and has produced tomatoes that are so plentiful that I give some away to my friends. It is easy to use from the standpoint that after I set up the soil I only have to fill the base when needed and the rest is history. This epitomizes the phrase "Set it and forget it"

I have a shady yard so I needed a container to grow tomatoes on my patio where is is sunnier and could absorb the heat of the patio. I gave this pot a try many years ago and it works great! I appreciate that I can just order the replenishment kit each year!

I have always been happy with Gardeners Supply.
When I have to talk to someone they are always so kind and have great knowledge about any of their products. The thing that comes to mind for me is "what you see is what you get". They never make any false claims on anything. I will continue to deal with Gardeners Supply because I trust them and have always been happy.
