Used on very small tomatoes. Was afraid of putting bigger plants though the hole. I like the depth of the water well. This also help protect the young plants. Will have to wait to see how it works

Last year I tried the lighter weight red wells but they did not fit my tomato cages and broke apart. These are much better. If tomato production is better, I'll let you know.

- Tried One For Cukes
Planted one of these 3 weeks ago and its grown 2 feet. Planted 2 more last week and the growth has started already. Just put some cukes in another to experiment. We have a hard clay soil so dug down below the planter and filled the hole with planting soil. Healthiest tomato plants I've had in 30 years.

I purchased 6 of these just to try this year. The results are unbelievable! The plants with the halos have grown much faster and are at least 1/3 taller than those without the halos. From my viewpoint, they even seem to have more blooms. There are no weeds to deal with around the plants and feeding them is much easier and I know the food is going directly through the roots. I will definitely be purchasing enough for all of my tomato plants next year. This product does what it says it does!

This unique design makes tomato planting easy. It protects the plant and incorporates good planting design using the red color and the watering basins. The really neat part is putting my tall ladder plant supports right in the halo which makes the halo sturdier. I have used other halos but they were hard to use with my tomato ladders. They also look great out in the garden. Results of this method are still pending so we will see.
