Exclusive | Bountiful Tomato Plants Right on Your Doorstep — with Grow Bags
- Grow tomatoes in any sunny spot!
- Made from patented, double-layer polypropylene that lets roots breathe
- Grow Bags make the most of limited space and fold flat for off-season storage
- Shown with the Tomato Cage, sold separately
For years now, gardeners in England have made the most of very limited garden space by growing vegetables, greens and herbs in plastic bags placed on steps, patios and landings. We’ve made improvements and achieved terrific results — and you will, too! First, our Tomato Grow Bags are made of patented, double-layer polypropylene instead of sheet plastic. This felt-like fabric breaths better, so your plants won’t suffer from heat build-up, overwatering, or poor aeration. Plus, our fabric air prunes plant roots, resulting in a strong, healthy root system. We’ve developed a Grow Bag for many popular crops — shallow for salads, deep for tomatoes, peppers and potatoes. That means less planting mix to buy and better results.
- Patented two-layer, BPA-free polypropylene fabric
- 14-1/2" square x 16" H
- Holds 73 quarts of planting mix
- Made in USA

This product allows me to plant in the ideal parts of my yard and around my property to get the most sun even when I did not have a dirt bed to plant in. It is moveable, attractive and I have had wonderful success.

Comments about Colorful Tomato Grow Bag:
I am an apartment dweller who grew-up gardening, so I don't know how to live without fresh tomatoes, peppers, and herbs. These grow bags make it simple to grow on a patio or balcony (I have done both). I recommend buying both the self-watering trays and the cages. I have found it easier to put the cages in before filling with soil. I have grown tomatoes and peppers in many different "for patio" gardening pots, but nothing has given me the size and production of the grow bags. Last summer we had a drought and with the self-watering trays my tomatoes grew to be over 6' tall. I have also found the tomato grow bag to be perfect for the bean/pea tower and to grow my beans and peas. Excellent product. Only negative is needing somewhere to dump the soil at the end of the season if you are an apartment dweller.

Comments about Colorful Tomato Grow Bag:
This product looked great in the photo, but is very floppy and unstructured. It was hard to get the soil into the pot and the dirt collected on one side.I just planted the yatoes yesterday ,we'll see how they do by the end of the season.

Comments about Colorful Tomato Grow Bag:
I bought these for the kids in a garden club at a city middle school. Many live w/o any area to garden at home. We potted up a tomato or pepper in these and they had one to tend over the summer. They were a big hit and an affordable way to allow the kids to grow their own food at home.

Comments about Colorful Tomato Grow Bag:
I had read about these bags many times and the information is totally correct. They keep their shape which is very important as I purchased another kind which was a waste of my money. I now have 8 tomato grow bags and when not growing tomatoes in the bags, I have used them for growing everything from swiss chard to sugar peas. I also have some of the pepper bags and potato bags and they are quite handy for growing other veggies besides peppers and potatoes. Some of the bags are about 5 years old and they still hold their shape and work great.

Comments about Colorful Tomato Grow Bag:
I love to garden but live in a condo complex with only my balcony as space for growing things. For several years I've tried various containers for tomatoes and have always ended up with only a couple (tomatoes) before they stopped producing. These bags are AMAZING and my tomato plants LOVE them! They (the plants) doubled in size, just in the first week. They are hearty & healthy, and already blooming (I expect tomatoes in about 3-4 weeks as I just planted them 3 weeks ago). These bags are the perfect solution to keeping tomato plants well watered/hydrated, while in direct sun to produce the best harvest possible.

Comments about Colorful Tomato Grow Bag:
I love the way these bags look. I also bought several of the blue "pepper" bags. The sunniest spot in my yard is on my back patio. These light-weight pots allowed me to bring both a spark of color and some edible plants right onto the patio. It gets so hot here in mid summer that we can't use clay pots -- they get too dry. I will be interested to see how these "cloth" pots work.
