Have excellent plants growing in the bag. Folding the bag at the end of the season maybe a problem since the earth is fairly expensive and I would wish to retain it.

This is my first experience with using grow bags and so far I love it. I started with just 1 and my tomato plant is growing very well. The tomato cage did poke a hole in the bottom of the bag, but that hasn't really been an issue.
Pros

- Reuseable
- Sturdy
Cons

Best Uses

I planted a tomato plant in the bag, inserted the support. My tomato is looking great. The growth has been fantastic. As it has been cool and wet here, I placed white light frost protection on the cage. It lets in light, but keeps the tomato warmer and drier.

I am a Winter Texan, so I can grow tomatoes in the Rio Grande Valley all winter in the grow bags. Then in the spring, go back to Iowa and place the bags in ideal locations and grow them all over again. I planted 1 tomato in a large pot and 1 in the grow bag this winter....the grow bag plant was twice the size and had twice the number of large tomatoes on it. Held moisture much better.
