Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
These are especially useful for plants like basil, mint and other herbs that tend to dry up quickly in the summer and must be watered daily. Filling up weekly in the summer, even less often in the winter (they come in to a solarium for the winter months) makes things much easier. They're spacious and deep and move well with the optional casters. The corner end-caps (decorative tops) tend to come off easily, but it's not a big issue.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Experience after 7 years' use: First off, I would buy these again (and in fact am about to). But it is useful to know ahead of time that after enough years, the clear plastic water spout will crack and break, making filling harder. Also, the water level indicator float often stops working. If you plan to use the planters for multiple years, I would suggest the following: go to the hardware store, get PVC pipe in the same dimension as the plastic tube, cut it to length to stick up a couple inches above the soil, and use a drill to drill a bunch of holes through the bottom 2 inches of it. Then use it instead of the supplied tube and level indicator. You'll know when the reservoir is almost full by the change in sound.
These planters fade a bit over time (I have the brown), but are a good product that is perfect if you have a patio you don't want to be staining with overflow all the time. They hold a good amount of water, ESPECIALLY the trough style. Wheels highly recommended, as the troughs especially get darn heavy. Recommended with those caveats.

Once I read the directions carefully, I put the planters together. I also bought casters to put under them. They look beautiful on my front porch.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Great self watering container. Easy to assemble, but if you make a mistake they are very hard to take apart. I like that you can add water easily to reservoir. I bought the casters so I could move it around to get more sun or shade, but the casters don't stay on. I found this very annoying .

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
Works great for a well kept, professional landscape appearance with so little upkeep. I work so have no time to water but still can have beautiful flowers in the intense summer heat. I bought one last year and left it unprotected thru the winter. Only I can tell the difference between the older one and the new ones I purchased. Weathered extremely well.

Although the directions were good, I still goofed when putting this together, but nothing too serious! Looks great with my plants, but can't figure out why I need to keep the dirt 3" from the top.

Comments about Terrazza Square Planters:
these look great out on the deck. I had no problems putting them together following the step by step instructions included. I purchased the wheels too and am very happy. I was concerned that once the planter was filled with dirt and plant it would be too heavy to roll, but it rolls easily.
