Drought-Proof Crystals Protect Plants for 5 Years
- Reduce watering chores and ensure plants get the water they need, when they need it
- Protect valuable landscape plants the way that pros do
- Also highly effective for container-grown plants
- Works for five years, then breaks down into fertilizer, not salt
Commercial landscapers rely on Terra-Sorb to protect plants in heat-stressed, drought-prone situations such as city parks and traffic medians. These non-toxic crystals absorb up to 200 times their weight in water, then release it gradually as plants need it. And because it contains potassium-based polymers instead of sodium-based, it breaks down into fertilizer instead of soil-damaging salts.
- Mix in 1 pound per 100 square feet in the garden; 1 teaspoon per dry gallon of soil in containers
- Super-absorbent hydrogel (potassium-based polymers)

Comments about Terra-Sorb:
The Terra Sorb is exactly as the product writeup states, but you really need to understand that when they say use only a little that is what they mean. I tried adding more and after a rain I had large clear bubbles all over the ground. So I learned the hard way. Good Stuff though.

At first, I was skeptical. We are on a one-day-a-week-watering restriction, so I tried it. It is great! Both hanging baskets and garden products can actually go a full week in Texas heat and drought. n Wonderful product.

Comments about Terra-Sorb:
Our soil was poor, needed serious TLC and amending. Attempting to establish the landscaping was a 50/50 proposition at best until we found Terra-Sorb. Every plant receives a dose and although it still takes love, water and perseverance to establish them we have a much greater success rate than before...and compliments galore...along with "How did you do it?"

Comments about Terra-Sorb:
My neighbors envy my containers and hanging baskets! Even in the extreme heat this summer, my flowers still bloom.
Add the crystals when planting, so they are near the roots.
I water slowly and gently, to let the crystals absorb the water. Without the crystals, the water just pours through the planting medium and the roots don't get a chance to take up any. I don't ever like to waste water, especially in a drought.

Comments about Terra-Sorb:
I add Terra-Sorb to every container, pot, hanging basket I plant, every single hole I dig to plant anything, shrubs, perennials, annuals. When my customers plant for themselves, I hand them a bag of Terra-Sorb and instruct them on how to use it. I am often hired to simply maintain and water and this is The Best Product for retaining vital moisture.
