This is a great way to water plants deep but I'm not sure that it works as advertised. Each time I fill a bottle full of water the plants drink it all. But, then again, I've got very thirsty Hydrangeas. Also, the instructions warn that these are fragile and they are. I broke one the first day. Still, it's a clever solution and a reasonable price. I will buy more.

Using to supply extra water to fruit trees. This way the plants get water deeper to their roots. The colored bottles look nice too.

I purchased this in conjunction with the colored bottles to water my indoor plants. I chipped one as I took it from the packging. I was still able to use it for its intended purpose. The added color from the bottles is something fun to add. You could use your own wine bottle.

These do not work. The water runs out within seconds. Even if the terra cotta was wet and the plant dirt was moist. Don't waste your money. There are better options to water your plants.

I think they would be better without the 2 tiny wholes in the bottom. The clay they are made of should be enough to leach the water into the soil. The holes take the water out of the bottle to quickly. I'm going to plug the holes up on a couple to see if I like the performance better.
