Because part of the zipper is metal, the cover must be removed before heating in the microwave. The cover fabric is very low quality and sheds lint balls all over. Some of the stitching that divides the liner into sections let go, so the material inside slides into a bunch. It holds heat well, and helped relieve shoulder/neck pain if used lying down. Couldn't use it sitting up because it was so heavy I tensed up.

I bought this for my husband because he has a lot of tension in his neck.
He has used it a couple of times already since buying it and finds it very helpful. I have tried it too and like how warm it stays. I kept it on my shoulders for at least an hour and it was still warm. Very nice to use on cold days - tension or not.

really like the size of this but was disappointed that I couldn't get it lavender scented or for that matter any scent in this size. It still is a great product for the area that it covers.
