I have this set up in my basement for indoor winter gardening. Only issue I have had is the light fixtures sometimes don't work unless you twist them. I originally had a question about the installation of the lights and called the help number, but no one ever called back.

We are using several lights, indoors in a windowless quarantine laboratory, to grow cotton. Cotton needs lots of light to flower and fruit. We started the plants in a greenhouse and moved them indoors, with grow lights, to conduct research. These lights are far, far superior to the old, fat fluorescents. The give more light, the fixtures are smaller (and very durable and well built), they put out little heat so can be close to the crop. They are great and have made a big difference in our ability to conduct research.

I wanted a bit of quality control on the greens I eat during the winter when my garden is covered in snow. The lite is just like sunshine to my growing greens! New salads in 6 weeks!

I had to replace old fixtures in my indoor growlight setup. These new fixtures with the T-5 lights were much easier to install and provide more light. They were a bit expensive, but that is compensated for in terms of bulb efficiency and energy savings.
