I ordered by phone to try and assure that I would get an 8'' depth on the 8'' brackets that I ordered. They sent me 6'' depth brackets. I returned them. They sent me 6'' brackets again. I gave up.

I have window boxes (great, self-contained, self-watering types) which I put up on existing supports a few years ago. Unfortunately, the wooden supports rotted out because sometimes Wisconsin weather is rainy for too many days in a row and the supports get WET. These supports are very solid, very strong, and the teak won't rot.
